Unique Materials

I enjoy working with materials that are not usually associated with fishing. I have built several rods utilizing old skateboards in the reel seats and grips. Have a piece of an old oak tree from the front yard of the house you grew up in? Let’s build it into a rod! For me fishing is an art, and all art has utility. I love having that piece of my past with me in the river, reminding me of where I’ve been, where I am and the dreams yet to come true.
